It is Furniture for Home’s mission to deliver fine furniture to the UK. As a result, we aim to deliver the best possible customer experience, and we therefore adhere to and if possible exceed, all current and proposed legislation in addition to trade body guidelines. The conditions detailed below do not affect your statutory rights according to United Kingdom law. These include all of the current guidelines relating to the information that we hold about you, and in order to clarify this we have a published Privacy Statement.

Products
- Product and packaging are subject to change or substitution without prior notice. If necessary we will substitute for an equal or higher priced item. If time is available we will attempt to contact you.
Delivery Zones
- Delivery within the GB mainland is FREE, except orders in Scotland where there is a small additional charge which will be advised if you contact us. We do not deliver outside of UK mainland. Delivery will only be made to the delivery address specified on the original order.
- Delivery will be deemed to have taken place when the Goods have been delivered to the agreed address (Furniture for Home do not need to satisfy themselves that the person accepting delivery at the agreed address is authorised by the Buyer to accept the Goods).
- All our furniture is presently delivered assembled or put up on site by our designated carriers unless otherwise specified in the case of smaller items.
- Delivery is officially to the front door only but Goods may be taken to the room of choice at the driver's discretion if access is clear.
Payment
- Full payment is required at the time the order is placed and Furniture for Home Limited will collect the payment from the debit/credit card details supplied. We accept payment by Visa, Mastercard and Switch.
- All orders are positively credit card sanctioned prior to dispatch, so please ensure that the details you provide us with are correct. We cannot accept responsibility for an order being held back as a result of incorrect or invalid payment details being given. We require you to supply the registered address of the Credit Card holder, which is used to validate your order with your selected credit card company. Failure to supply the correct details will result in your order being held pending the supply of the correct details.
- The total value of your order will be displayed on the order confirmation screen. The displayed price is the amount in pounds sterling that you will pay.
- All prices quoted include VAT at the appropriate rate, currently 17.5%. If you are eligible to reclaim this sales tax, on request we can supply you with a VAT receipt.
- In the unlikely event that your payment card is used fraudulently to make a purchase with Furniture for Home, you the consumer, are entitled to cancel the said payment(s). If payment has already been made, you, the customer, are entitled in accordance with the standing Consumer Protection Distance Selling Regulation (2000), to a re-credit or to have all sums returned to you by the card issuer.
International Orders
- We regret that if your order is being dispatched to an address outside the UK, it is possible that the local customs may impose additional import duties and customs charges. These are levied at the port of ingress on a 'consignment by consignment' basis and we cannot therefore predict if they will be charged and are unable to influence if and how these may be levied. You will be responsible for these charges as levied. The process quoted on this site and in our promotional material are Free On Board, i.e. as delivered to our international carriers UK address. We constantly monitor the individual countries customs policies and reserve the right to decline any orders to countries that we have concerns relating to the safe delivery of your furniture.
- We do not recommend shipping our products to warm countries. As we have no control over the temperature during transit and upon arrival abroad, we cannot accept responsibility for warped products when shipped internationally.
Delivery
All orders received by 1.30pm on any standard working day (Monday to Friday), can be dispatched that week if stock levels allow. We aim to complete most special orders within 28 days of order.
- You can request that we dispatch your order on any future date upon request.
- All orders require a signature on delivery, delivery will usually occur between 8.00 am and 6.00 p.m. Monday to Friday.
- Please ensure that there is someone to accept delivery during working hours. Should our courier be unable to deliver, a card will be left to inform the recipient how they can collect their parcel or arrange re-delivery. It then becomes the recipient's responsibility to contact the relevant delivery company to arrange a suitable re-delivery date. If no contact is made, re-delivery may be attempted without further contact with the recipient. We accept no liability if delivery is not made due to the recipient not being available, or if goods become unsuitable as a result of non-delivery. Post Office address finding service.
- We will deliver to the address as you enter it and can not accept any liability for late or failed delivery if the quoted address is incorrect. We advise that if you are not sure of the address you should check it using the Post Office address finding service.
- We regret that we are unable to accept orders for delivery to an address containing a PO Box Number, or from persons placing an order whose own address contains a PO Box number.
- Deliveries will be made to the address selected and specified on the original order. In the event that you select a business address, Furniture for Home shall be deemed to have taken place when the Goods have been delivered to the agreed address (Furniture for Home do not need to satisfy themselves that the person accepting delivery at the agreed business address is authorised by the Buyer to accept the Goods) and has signed for receipt of delivery. Delivery is officially to the front door only but Goods may be taken to the room of choice at the driver's discretion if access is clear.

Guarantees
All Goods are guaranteed against faulty materials and workmanship for a minimum period of twelve months from the date of delivery.
Cancelling your Order
When shopping with Furniture for Home, you can be assured of complete peace of mind.
You may cancel your order at any time up 2 days before you have requested that it is despatched. In the event that you wish to cancel your order, please contact our customer service department on 0870 8504887.
In accordance with the Distance Selling Directive (2000) you may also cancel your order at any time without reason, within 7 working days of delivery. Should you wish to cancel your order and receive a refund, you must confirm this in writing and return the packaged item(s) to:

Please be aware that you will be liable for any postage costs incurred as a result of returning items to Furniture for Home and you should ensure that you obtain proof of postage as you send it back. We regret that a refund can only be provided for items received back by us. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Please be advised that we need to be notified of any order issues within 28 days of dispatch. We are unfortunately unable to offer refunds on orders if we have not been notified within this time period.
Special Items
Goods that are not held in stock by Furniture for Home and are ordered and/or manufactured specifically for the Buyer cannot be cancelled once the order has been accepted by Furniture for Home Limited.
